A Poem

In the morning we got up real slow,

Then some big rocks we did throw,

Then down for some food,

Which was really good,

And we all packed up for Oslo.

Izzy the pillow sat still,

Suzanne rolled over the hill,

In our car was no man,

The others sat in the van,

Like Addison, Michael, and Will.

060

We stopped and ate at a church,

Where the deceased had made their perch.

We found names from Frozen,

Nearly a dozen,

Then we left that place with a lurch.

075

We arrived in Oslo the city,

Sorry this poem isn’t witty.

We then went to train,

It started to rain,

The bad weather was such a pity.

We came back to the house soaking wet,

But we had no need to fret,

Some tacos we made

Some games we played,

And then host families we met.

It was time to get ready for bed,

We were tired and well-fed,

We showered and logged,

Unpacked and blogged,

Each lay down their sleepy head.

Thanks to the moms of our team,

For finding us places to dream.

Without you we’d be stranded,

Here’s a picture of Cristina (not candid),

And thanks for the ice cream!
